We are Itsoseng.Itsoseng
was born out of the simple belief that no one should have to navigate the world alone. Since 2016, we have been creating spaces where lesbian, bisexual and queer people (LBQ+) can find community, be affirmed in who they are, and access the knowledge and care they deserve.We know what it means to search for information that was never written with us in mind, to long for healthcare that sees us, and to crave spaces where we can show up fully without apology. That is why we do what we do.

At Itsoseng, care is not an afterthought, it is our politics. We believe that knowledge is liberating, community keeps us alive, and pleasure is part of justice. We create spaces where people can learn about their bodies, relationships and health; ask difficult questions; celebrate themselves; and imagine freer futures together.

Rooted in queer feminist values, our work brings together comprehensive sexuality education, community organising, advocacy and healthcare transformation to ensure that LBQ+ people are not treated as an afterthought, but as whole people worthy of dignity, joy and belonging.Because when we care for one another, we make it possible for all of us to thrive.In Setswana Itsoseng means "to uplift yourself"
